Sea experience

Sandy beaches are located a few meters from the hotel. Most of the beaches are private and equipped with cabins, umbrellas and sunbeds.

In 2021, our beaches have been confirmed Blue Flag for the quality of the environment and responsible services.

From the port there are excursions to visit the Cetacean Sanctuary, sailing boats for private excursions and rubber dinghy rentals.

Walk along the suggestive Walk of Lovers that goes from the Hotel to Borgo Foce: at sunset it is a must.

Mountains experience

Exciting in summer and winter, on foot and on two wheels.

Ride among the olive trees of the Arroscia Valley (or maybe use an e-bike with the whole family), have a picnic at Colle di Nava during the lavender bloom.

A little higher, take the spectacular  Alta Via del Sale white road that connects Limone to the sea.

Live in the  Parco naturale delle Alpi Liguri, which, overlooking the sea, offers itineraries and sports in all seasons. Climb  Mount Saccarello, the highest peak in the Ligurian Alps at 2,200 meters, to see the sea and Corsica from the Statue of the Redeemer.

City of culture

Imperia is a city of culture.

Visit the extraordinary fairytale Villa Grock and the Clown Museum, maritime history at the Naval Museum and contemporary art at Villa Faravelli.

Our tradition lives in our aristocratic panoramic promontory Borgo Parasio and in the ancient fishing village Borgo Foce.

Between the Basilica and the stone houses, narrow alleys and dry stone walls, a rare pearl are the Logge di Santa Chiara in front of the cloistered monastery, from which you can admire the most romantic and evocative panorama of the city.

Sport activities

Sports here have one constant: the sea view! Water sports, boat excursions, padel, biking and typical outdoor activities such as Nordic walking.

Near the hotel you will find sailing, diving and windsurfing school.

From the port there are excursions to visit the cetacean sanctuary Cetacean Sanctuary, sailing boats for private excursions and dinghy rentals. A few kilometers from us, the Ponente Ligure cycle path begins, which winds for 24 km along the  the seaside from San Lorenzo al Mare to Ospedaletti. Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented in Imperia or directly along the track.

Small villages

There is only one question: how many kilometers do you want to travel?

From coastal villages such as Cervo (for years elected the most beautiful village in Italy) to San Lorenzo al Mare with its small square; to the more curious ones like Triora (the village of witches) and Dolceacqua with its Castle; or “gastronomic” like Pieve di Teco with its festival of white cuisine.

Here next to us you can miss Borgo Marina with the tourist port and its unmissable aperitifs.

Food and wine

Imperia is authentic flavors in historic shops, ancient cafes and ovens.

Taste traditional dishes such as brandacujon (stockfish), pizza all’Andrea, farinata, red prawns from Oneglia.

Here with us the culture of olive oil reigns, one of the finest in the world, produced with Taggiasca quality olives. You can visit the museum dedicated to the history of oil in the city center or shopping by one of the many oil mills in the surrounding areas.
